What texts we send
Our text messages are transactional and account-related only:
- One-time sign-in codes (2FA) — a verification code when you sign in to your account, if you asked to receive it by text.
- Booking confirmations and receipts — a confirmation or receipt for a specific wash, service, or booking you made with us.
These are not recurring, scheduled, or automated marketing campaigns. You will only receive a message in response to your own sign-in or your own booking.
How you opt in
Providing your mobile number and agreeing to texts is completely optional and is never required to create an account, sign in, book, or use any part of Mr. Car Wash — you can always sign in with Google or an emailed code instead. When you create an account or sign in on mrcarwashnyc.com, you will see an optional checkbox that is unchecked by default. You opt in to transactional texts only by choosing to check that box. This is the exact checkbox and wording shown on the site:

Message frequency varies — typically one message per sign-in attempt, plus a confirmation for each booking you make. There is no recurring or scheduled messaging.

How to stop or get help
You can cancel at any time by replying STOP to any message we send. After you reply STOP, we will stop sending you texts. Reply HELP for help, or contact us at the number below. You can also turn texts off at any time from your account profile.
Privacy
